How do I add a song?

Open the song page in Safari, tap Share and choose Glowchord. This is the most reliable way. You can also paste the song text, or a link, into Import in the app. Sharing works from Safari only: other browsers pass on just the link, not the page.

How do we play together?

One person taps “Host a session” in Session, the others tap “Join a session”. Everyone needs to be nearby with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on; no internet is needed. Followers see the host's song and key as they change.

The connection dropped

Stay close and keep the app open. The follower shows that it lost the host and reconnects on its own when the host is back in range.

A chord is in brackets

With “Fill in missing chords” on in Settings, verses imported without chords get chords from an earlier verse. They are shown in brackets because they are a guess. Turn it off to see only what the page had.

My songs on another device

Turn on “Sync library with iCloud” in Settings on both devices, signed in to the same Apple Account.
